The upper panels show tyrosine phosphorylation of total proteins from sperm
incubated for 3 hours at 39°C (left) or cooled (right) in noncapacitating
media (NCM), capacitating media (CM) with and without the inclusion of 10% or
20% (v/v) seminal plasma. The position of p32, a protein shown to be
phosphorylated during capacitation, is noted. In the lower panels, the blot
was stripped and reprobed for beta-tubulin (ß-tub) as a loading
control.
