Washed (epididymal fluid [EF]) or unwashed (+EF) caput and
cauda sperm suspensions were kept at 4°C for 3 days without or with 1 mM
GSH, CSH, GSSG, and CSSC; spermatozoa were then washed and labeled with mBBr.
The fluorescence intensity of the sperm heads, evaluated by microscopy, was
graded from 1 (very low intensity) to 10 (very high intensity). |
